= Controls=


The controls on Aquila's toolbars, menus & buttons can be operated by hovering over the item and clicking with the left mouse button or index finger button or using the tab key and carriage return (or enter key). 

==Control Types==

Below is a screenshot which shows the tab, menu and toolbars.  

"Tab" images shows:-  AquilaCRS and the second tab shows Folder: PARKER, Peter

"Menu" image shows:- File, Edit, View, Actions, Searches, Page, Tools, Window, Help, Search

"Toolbar" image shows:- New patient, Searches, Page, Help, Exit

''Tab'' = A tab is a part of a computer window that protrudes from the normal screen shape, it has a tab at the top similar to an index page allowing you to go to different parts of the program, click on the tab and the page will be displayed.

''Menu'' (File, Edit, View etc) = The Menu is the line of items just above the Toolbar it is a list of options or commands in a text or icon-based selection system that selects and executes programs or tasks.

''Drop Down Menu'' =  A drop-down menu (also dropdown menu or dropdown list) is similar to a list box, that allows the user to choose one value from a list. When a drop-down list is inactive, it displays a single value. When activated, it displays (drops down) a list of values, from which the user may select one. When the user selects a new value, the control reverts to its inactive state, displaying the selected value or opens a new option.

''Toolbar'' (New Patient, Searches etc) - A toolbar is a graphical control element located below the menu bar, on which on-screen buttons, icons, menus, or other input or output elements are placed. Displayed as a horizontal row of control icons representing tasks and tools. Each task/tool is represented by a different icon. The Aquila toolbar is the list of items at the top of each "Window".



''Buttons'' = Buttons are any outlined square or oblong with writing indicating what function the button will carry out when pressed.
