A single demographics record is attached to the patient folder(s) & allows the user to maintain a history of changes, such as house moves & name changes.
The digital imaging module consists of a wide range of acquisition sources and a comprehensive image viewer with medico specific features such as multi–user vector annotations & window level control.
An (optional) innovative mobile app allows capture of clinical images from your own device and securely transfers to the Trust hosted database via our secure gateway.
Allowing the user to record a patient event at a specific date and location, including clinical observations, patient interactions (phone, email, face to face), family & personal history items and diagnostic codes. This simple feature allows the clinician to build a narrative of the patients history without needing in-depth specialist datasets.
The Care Journal provides multiple calendar and history style views in which to view the various events within the record. Fully integrated with all specialist modules including Burn Injury and Digital Imaging.
Aquila CRS implements a philosophy of not stopping the clinician or user from completing their work due to poor data quality. In some cases the user does not have the relevant information to hand.
In such circumstances the user should be able to save the record and carry on with their work.
Aquila CRS core functionality includes a validation engine which display any data quality issues to the user, but does not stop them from continuing their work.
Validation messages are searchable and can be used to return to correct any errors quickly and easily – saving time finding the original record.
All datasets within the core Aquila CRS application allow sophisticated yet simple querying and reporting.
An intuitive query builder allows even novice users to build complex queries, allowing your service to quickly find the information it needs meaning that you get the most benefit from the data you enter.

All specialist datasets are fully integrated with ‘core’ features such as digital imaging, validation engine, significant events and the query engine
Each database transaction is fully audited. The database can be taken offline and rebuilt to a specific point in time.
All client-server communications are fully encrypted using AES 256. The data inside the encryption envelope is proprietary binary format.
In addition, we recommend securing your server with SSL to provide an additional level of encryption.
Confidentiality is a constant value throughout the Aquila CRS application:
Each audit trail entry is divided into two parts: public and private. This means our remote database replication can be configured to only share non-confidential data, for example with a national registry.
Fine grained user permissions mean that you can allow only select users to output data from the application, either via printing or file export.
Detailed user permissions allow the allocation of edit, read, export, list management and querying rights to individual users.
But security is more than just software. Aquila CRS can scale from a single PC installation to a multi-tier architecture so that server and database back-end exist within the Trust-level security framework.
